Bomb goes off near Mancha vigil

No casualties were reported in the incident.

The bomb had been thrown from a road leading to Kataban, bdnews24.com’s Dhaka University Correspondent reported from the scene.

An hour earlier, four bombs had been exploded near the Dhaka Central Jail.

Witnesses said the explosions occurred around 9:45pm in front of Nirob Hotel, about 50 yards away from the central jail boundary.

There were no reports of casualties, Abul Hasan, Inspector (Investigation) at Bangsal Police Station, told bdnews24.com.
